I do not eat from the hibachi side. We enjoy the quiet side, and my husband and I both love everything that we order there. The food is delicious and I always take home leftovers.
Portions are def enough! I eat a third of mine and I can eat.. lol I'm a woman.. and my ex can eat and he would eat all of his and be quite full! They portion things ou between how many people and how much they need. You get what's on the menu if it's a 8 oz. Steak they make sure u get that usually more honestly! You get this yummy hit soup with a few scallions and floating mushrooms I dont eat them. Lol A salad with an orange ginger dressing it's amazing. Totally worth the money!! Promise! Btw they do rice with egg mixed in.. like a lo mein type round noodle but better and veggies.. I only get the broccoli tho.. I dont like the other stuff.. and the meat you choose on grille... BTW ichiban is my favorite restaurant.. I need to go! Having a 2 month old baby makes it difficult though lol
If he's still hungry he can always order dessert. But the portions are large and the food is excellent. I certainly wouldn't letany kind of silly worry like that get in the way of a great dining experience.
It's pretty impossible to leave hibachi without a container of food. I recommend the filet mignon from this place, cooked to perfection!
If you get something from the hibachi vs the regular menu you will get quite a lot of food. There is soup, salad, meat (or seafood), rice and veg. I don't think I can remember a time when I didn't take food home. I suppose in the end it depends on his appetite, but I believe she should be ok.
