Positive: Beautiful room in a classic hotel building downtown, close to lots of restaurants and entertainment. I was surprised how nice the room was for the price. Would definitely try to stay there again. Negative: The lighting was not good for reading in bed.

The Genetti is awesome. I was visiting with my boyfriend so he could show me his old stomping grounds from when he was in college. He said "We have to stay at the Genetti!" I am so glad we did. It was clean, the staff was nice, the price was reasonable and the breakfast was fantastic. Not some defrosted garbage. Real eggs, real homemade home fries, etc. I was sad I never made it to their restaurant, but we only stayed the night. Also, shout out to Lorena. I had forgotten my necklace, which was made by a friend who is no longer with us, in the room and Lorena was right on the case. She took care of it quickly and professionally. She got my jewelry back to me and saved me a tremendous amount of heartache. We will definitely be staying there again when we pass through next time. It has a lot of old world charm and class that you do not see anymore. 10+ stars.

Hi me and my family traveled here from Virginia but I was born and raised in Williamsport, Pa I would highly recommend people with small children stay here because fron the moment me and my sister arrived at the front desk the service was EXCELLENT and the greeting made us feel so relaxed and happy. I want to thank the staff and management and employees for all their hard work. I want to thank the kitchen staff at the restaurant for breakfast the food was delicious and the waiter and waitress gave wonderful service with a smile I want to thank the person who cleaned our room I think his name was Dan but if not it started with a "D" great service with a smile. I want people to know stop here for a few nights and enjoy what the hotel has to offer and the local restaurants and attractions kudos to the Manager and owner of this hotel wonderful service 5 stars

I struggled with which star rating to give and ultimately decided on a 3. The sole reason was because the level of noise was completely unacceptable. The room was fantastic. The service was excellent. The food was outstanding, and the bar has an expansive selection of beer, wine, and top shelf liquor with a bartending staff to match. But the noise from the street, in our 4th floor room, was so loud it was almost as if we were on the 1st floor with the windows open. It was absolutely unreal how loud it was. We could clearly hear conversations that occurred on the street. In addition, the walls of the guest rooms did nothing to muffle sounds from adjoining rooms. Our next door neighbors were talking in their room, not loudly, until almost 4:00 am. I repeat, they were not unduly loud, but the walls were so thin, it kept us up most of the night.
