Has anyone gotten past the "automatic with drawing from checkbook" policy...The gentleman on the phone quoted a pay up front for a year fee of over $200... I'll be looking for a new gym.

If you are worried about 200 a year for a quality gym it would seem that you have other things to worry about

I just got off the phone with my local club and apparently they have a finance company that runs their membership fees for him and in my club it’s on the 17th. No way to change that unfortunately. I pay 23.60 a month for black card membership but it does come oit of my bank account automatically.
