I would be shocked if they didn't. They take the big and the small Insurance companies... @Bettylou Workman, I sincerely hope that you have successfully found a new, more compassionate Pain Management Doctor. I too was dismissed from the practice with no notice, no letter, nothing. I hope that you are successful working with the DEA. They cannot legally 'dismiss' a patient without 30 days supply of medication, a copy of the medical records, and a referral to another doctor... I wish you well...!
Dr. Chad Gorman was my pain specialist for only a couple of months. When he discharged me, he didn't even give me my 30 refill so there wouldn't be a lapse when seeing other doctor. He has no compassion. I suffer from end stage non-alcoholic liver failure, neuropathy and chronic pelvic pain due to having some of my intestines removed. Death can't come soon enough, then no more worries. I called the DEA and they're investigating. It takes 4 to 6 weeks to get in to see someone else. The 30 day refill would have covered this time frame. Something needs to be done and I'm working on it for everyone. Once I'm out of meds, I become suicidal. I'm trying to help everyone in this situation. We're more humane to animals. We either treat them or put them down. AMEN
They definitely take some medicare HMOs. The only way to know is to call during business hours or if you can't wait try combing their website if they have one, i'm fairly sure this office is part of a medical group, in that case it would be called "Physician Partners of America Pain Relief Group."

You would have to call but Im pretty sure they do. It's a big network, more than one location.
