They give you hats, blankets, soap, comb, diapers, wipes, formula if your baby doesn't latch for breastfeeding. I had my 2nd son there in August and they were super nice and accommodating. I highly recommend them
I've not had any children there.. But from what ive seen in Room 309 was frightening enough for me to tell you to go to shands.. This hospital has zero interest in the patience Needs ... The interest is solely on how long they can keep you and charge your inc. They not only were incompetent with rules and regulations of Nursing... One doctor was completely incompetent giving my friend's child a massive dose of steroids which raised his white blood cell count to 29k... The other so-called house internalist, was an arrogant man who didn't want to hear a thing not one thing and insisted upon keeping that disabled man 4 more days than necessary!!! Emotionally manipulating an 80 year old father!! His disable son spent four more days in a hospita that he DID NOT NEED!! that was completely unnecessary!!! completely!!! So my advice to you is run don't walk as far away from that places you can get !!!do not have your child in this Hospital!!
