In my experiences when talking a drugscreen they will ask if you are prescribe any thing. Tell them yes, the drug and clinic, etc...and because of HIPPA laws they aren't allowed to release that information. Also when taking a drug screen the company pays for a specific drug screen panel and if they aren't looking for such it will not come up. Ìve never had any trouble with methadone and a drug screen for a job. GOOD LUCK tomorrow on your interview.
Methadone doesn't show on standard test.. But you can say its prescrbed also because it is. Yr not buying it illegally. Don't mean they won't frown on it, but shouldn't be able to fire you over it unless it affects yr work.
Not every drug screen has methadone on it. Most labs do. But when u get your dose at the window ask them for a prescription thing and u take that with u when u do your drug screen. Its just like a regular precription. Ive done it and still go to clinic
Ok thanks everybody and to shannon, I also thought that they would have to specifically test for methadone and that a typical test for a job shouldn't have methadone on it but I was just curious. Also I'm gonna see my counselor in the A.M. just in case, but thank you for the good wishes ✌️
Methadone will show up in a drug screen, but you must be honest and tell them that YES, YOU HAVE A PRESCRIPTION for it!!! I've never had any problems with that because a doctor is prescribing it to you. Let me know if you have any other questions and if I can help answer them I will.
Definitely will show up and I think depending on the job rather or not that will approve of the help. I work for my brother so I'm blessed
Methadone will show up in a standard drug test. Please see your counselor for more information.
