Need replacement ss card for 85 year old dad. If I take his birth certificate and drivers license to local office, can I order card without him being present?

You have to have him complete and or sign the ss5 and take his original unexpired I'd and they can do it without him being there.

I believe that is all you need,but you have to fill out an application when you get to the office. And they are located beside the kiosk where you sign in.
