Coming down with some friends from Canada for dinner, and I've heard great things about this place. What do the locals and regulars recommend as not to be missed items on the menu?

The lobster risotto is delicious as is penne alla vodka with grilled chicken. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Everything is well cooked and prepared.

Everything is EXCELLENT. Any choice on menu will not disappoint. Parking in the lot is $5

Based on my experience, I would not recommend going here at all (see my review for details). Instead I would recommend perhaps Pearl Street Brewery which is not far away at the corner of Seneca & Pearl Streets downtown. I haven't reviewed them yet but we've had several work functions there and I've never been disappointed. If you do decide to go to Tappo, I had the lasagna and cheesy garlic bread when I went which were good.
