Prospecting with metal detectors is allowed. However, the soil is very hot. The only gold found in the area was in Six Bit Gulch. Have fun, fill your holes.

Ive not seen any signs stating its not allowed . However i would imagine the ground would be hard to dig through. Hard soil with many rocks . Id wanna keep my eyes open for rattle snakes and my surroundings rather than gold or jewelry. 😆
Unsure. It's BLM land. They probably have restrictions.
