Great and fun. Lots of land to explore. Plenty of places to pull off the road Beautiful scenery. Not much traffic congestion.

The area is free and still has lots of wildflowers. There are horse trails and hiking trails. Highly reccomended. Drive slow asroad is rough There is no camping

Unlike most other public land administered by the BLM, camping is not allowed within the Red Hill Area of Critical Environmental Concern (ACEC). Target shooting is also prohibited.

Hunting is allowed in season. Target shooting is not. I have seen turkeys, quail, dove and deer. Remember this area is very dry during the summer and fall. Game will be dependent on available water. Populations dropped during the drought.
