We do not have a specialized area for a party of 40 people, but we could do our best to try and accommodate you. We could probably essentially rent out the patio area for a portion of the day for events of this size.
Yes they have a specially designated area for large parties!
They only take reservations for parties of greater than 8 people, and only during weekdays for an early lunch (11 am) or dinner (3-4 pm). You can find it more here: http://www.finneyscrafthouse.com/reservation/
