We got a free trip to San Diego, Vegas or San Francisco for sitting through some timeshare pitch. I thought it would be a nice way to take a quick vacation. The process of constant mailing to get the trip even selected and confirmed is honestly so silly, but I jumped through the hoops. Once I was confirmed for San Diego a customer service rep called me and tried to sell me on upgrades. She was very kind and thoughtful, but the upgrade cost was $600 and I could book a trip myself for that; I passed on the upgrade. I got my final flight and hotel info to find out we would not be arriving to San Diego until after midnight (told it would be 10-11 pm previously) and they would be putting us in a dumpy motel outside of San Diego about 20 minutes. The next customer rep I worked with was amazing. They offered to refund me my deposit plus some, or rebook me for Vegas. We opted to go to Vegas since we already had the time off, but still have to pay the resort fee and they put my $100 deposit toward the change. Ultimately the Vegas trip will be fine, but I could have saved myself a lot of time and headache and booked the same trip for about $175 (only $75 more after they keep my deposit). The customer service is great, the “free trip” is garbage.

Horrible customer service. I am still waiting on my refund almost 2 months later! I am still waiting on a callback and when I call to talk to the manager, he is at lunch when I was supposed to get a call.

We had a "free" cruise trip lined up from Welk's restort. Casablanca helped plan with us, but when it came time to pay I have found out that I have paid for the entire cruise, and a little bit extra! Which means that I won a "free" trip, only to have paid for the entire trip myself and a little bit to the people helping us. I was promised my deposit would be refunded upon the trip ending if there was any extra, but that's a lie. I tried to obtain a itemized receipt of what I've paid, what Welk's is covering, and what my refund amount should be, but customer service has been silent on it. They will not provide any itemized receipt (probably so I don't sue them). I'm excited for my trip, but sad that I could have booked my trip for less money if I didn't win this "free" trip. Don't trust Welk's and Casablanca with "free" trip promotional offers. Just book the cruises/vacations yourself for less money.

No, we have been trying to get ahold of our booking agent and she hasn’t called us back and I’ve been trying to call her for a month now, we are supposed to go on our mini vacation tomorrow, we have no idea what time to be at the airport. We have no information on what we are supposed to do
