Don't listen to any of these people the American Red Cross offers incentives for donating right now they're offering a $20 gift card to Home Depot for plasma in the past I have received $5 Amazon gift card and also free credit towards the American Red Cross and gift shop recently they are offering entry to the Game of Thrones premiere so yes there are incentives to donate but no they don't pay on the spot it comes later in an email with a some type of voucher or gift code

Exactly what Carol said. The American Red Cross is a service organization to help people around the world. They need people to donate in order to meet these demands. Go try it sometime, you will be blessed knowing that you are saving someone's life and not getting financial reward.
