When we've gone, we've climbed many steps to the 2nd floor. Does Cafe Santorini have an elevator, if we want to bring an elderly friend?

Sorry no elevator its a "historical" building and the city won't allow to alter to the structure. However if you let them know you have an elder person or handicap they do provide service at their banquet room downstairs (rococco) if the room is not being acupide but they can accomodate just let them know prior to arriving.

No elevator just stairs. Their food is very delicious to indulge.

I have been there a few times and have always climbed the stairs. I do not recall any elevator.
