My boyfriend and I came here on a Sunday evening for dinner. They were pretty busy when we came around 7pm so we had to wait about 20 minutes to get our food. We ordered a combo plate (can pick any combination of 2 skewers). We picked chicken kabob & shish(beef) kabob for combo. It came with Basmati rice, cucumber salad, roasted tomato, hummus, and pita bread. It also came with a small container of garlic paste. Both of the meats were juicy and tender. Their bread and hummus were also amazing. The garlic paste was also very garlicky. Everything was delicious. 😋

The store/restaurant is very plain looking and not fancy at all. But it can be surprising how very tasty their rotisserie chicken is. The best in town. A little pricey ($15) for one medium size whole chicken compared to Costco ($5) huge chicken. But the chicken tastes amazing and the white creamy spread is awesome. So to me it is very much worth it.

Did not enjoy my experience here tonight. Oh be been coming to this location for 9yrs and I can tell you that as a local that has been part of this community for sometime I am disappointed. I used to get excited and even drive 5mi to come to this location and enjoy the food that’s here. But man I feel like they’ve spent time to really breakdown your enjoyment of the food and environment. They actually changed what the serve you and the pictures do not accurately display what you’ll get on your plat. Too bad. I wish I could have left here with an enjoyable memory. I give 1 outta 3👍🏽’s if only just because the food was still good. Gotta pick your game up Pasadena Zankou.

Still the best flavored chicken in SoCal. Visited the Pasadena restaurant, the Persian flavored flair doesn’t disappoint you. Whenever I need to have a good appetite for chicken I always have to stop by to taste their delicious chicken when visiting Pasadena or Glendale.
