We had a recent experience with Burwood cemetery and it was absolutely the best in making our final moments with our beloved family member a true horror encounter. We, meaning the funeral home we went through after the ME concluded the autopsy, and several family members, none of us could do anything more than leave message after message delaying EVERYTHING and EVERYONE in our family across several states and time zones. Having a family plot and realizing that this formerly decent place is under new ownership that does NOT support a grieving family was awful. Held up in progressing through needed steps. Refusing to help until ORIGINAL documents were produced ,!? Needing to be paid in full because they are unable to send a bill.... This is a horrible place that makes me grieve anew for having a family plot in Burwood. This place is now for PROFIT only and does not offer any valuable assistance for a grieving family. I am continuing to tell all; DON'T GO HERE. IT'S UNACCEPTABLE.
