They do not answer phone. They have a voice mail, but after leaving many messages over two weeks, I have not gotten a response. I also emailed them, no response. Maybe the manager is dead and buried here! Update, after leaving this review, they finally contacted me and we got it all straighten out.

I have been trying to reach the cemetery for two weeks and have left 7 messages. Another family member has also been trying to reach them. I have contacted the sheriffs department to do a welfare check as I can't imagine a business not responding to phone calls. The answering machine does not state they are closed.

Standard headstone size would be 24 x 12 x 4 as the largest you can go.
We had a recent experience with Burwood cemetery and it was absolutely the best in making our final moments with our beloved family member a true horror encounter. We, meaning the funeral home we went through after the ME concluded the autopsy, and several family members, none of us could do anything more than leave message after message delaying EVERYTHING and EVERYONE in our family across several states and time zones. Having a family plot and realizing that this formerly decent place is under new ownership that does NOT support a grieving family was awful. Held up in progressing through needed steps. Refusing to help until ORIGINAL documents were produced ,!? Needing to be paid in full because they are unable to send a bill.... This is a horrible place that makes me grieve anew for having a family plot in Burwood. This place is now for PROFIT only and does not offer any valuable assistance for a grieving family. I am continuing to tell all; DON'T GO HERE. IT'S UNACCEPTABLE.
This is the most peaceful place
It depends on what type of lot you're looking for and what type of burial (Cremation or casket). Also if you live in Escalon or not. The most expensive it gets to is $3,700.
