No fires, no smoking of any kind in any of Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District. (There are very limited exceptions to this, none of which apply for Sierra Azul (Mt. Um included)). At the summit Parking lot of Mt Um, there is a shade structure and picnic area, but still no fires allowed.
