Just searched this and was so excited that I found this organization for future reference! Their site says they take walk-in intakes everyday from 9-3. Unfortunately, I was hoping to save a bird that hit a glass building; but, it was already dead.

Visited for the first time to drop off a baby bird. They came out and promised to take good care of it.

They give the best chance for critters to be returned to their natural environment. I'm grateful for their caring work.

Mid-October to December is the best time to trim trees. Thank you for being considerate to wildlife and the environment!

I have a friend who owns some birds and unfortunately since she lost her house she can not care for them properly. Will your facility take them if she decides to surrender her feathered babies? Thank you.

Hi Griselda, Sorry to hear about the situation. We are only permitted to care for native wildlife, so we cannot accept domestic animals/pets. Your friend can contact her local animal shelter or a bird rescue such as Mickaboo or Palomacy to try to rehome. Jenny

Don’t do anything on the weekends. So who will? Guess that’s another business idea that needs to be utilized. Poor birds are dying and I tried to get help with no answer. Very Very upset.

Our hospital is open 9am - 5pm, 7 days a week, but we are short-staffed and can only answer phones on the weekdays. If you find an injured or orphaned animal you can bring it in any time during our open hours, or call your local animal control for assistance. Thank you for understanding and thank you for helping local wildlife!

do you rescue injured coyote's or foxes and rehab them?

Yes. The facility currently has both being rehabilitated as we speak.

Leave it alone, mom and dad might be around. They usually will fly away in a couple of days. You don't want mom or dad to get scared away and can't won't feed the baby.

HI! I can hear an animal in my attic as of last night. It was making digging sounds all night. I want to remove the animal but not harm her. Can someone give me some guidance? Thank you, Lenoir
