I have a friend who owns some birds and unfortunately since she lost her house she can not care for them properly. Will your facility take them if she decides to surrender her feathered babies? Thank you.

Hi Griselda, Sorry to hear about the situation. We are only permitted to care for native wildlife, so we cannot accept domestic animals/pets. Your friend can contact her local animal shelter or a bird rescue such as Mickaboo or Palomacy to try to rehome. Jenny

Yes they will. They take all wildlife and avians. If they are wild they will care for them medically and rehabilitate them. After that they try to release them in the same area they were found. This is a pretty awesome place.
