Yes, Gore will be open. Make sure you keep your skin covered, know how to spot the start of frostbite on yourself and others. Check with Gore's outstanding Ski Patrol if you need help or have questions. Take frequent breaks, and check out the new Saddle and Summit Lodges.
Sure
Only three reasons they would be closed. 1- no snow. 2 - high wind makes lifts unsafe. 3 - no power
I believe that they are not required to shut down until wind chill is -100f. Dress for the weather and check the wind directions to avoid the exposure. You can still get good skiing in and have less people to deal with.
Yes, as long as the wind gusts do not cause the lifts to shut down. Rain or freezing rain mixed with cold temps my cause lifts to stop as well.
Yup
Yes they will be open.. dress accordingly. . Only if it's windy do they close down.. I would recommend calling first though if your coming from a distance away
Just check the wind. They may close the lifts due to the wind and wind chill
Most definitely, dress in layers, as you ski it will be warm but once you have to go back up you might freeze
Thanks everyone.
