Seriously Gore! You have such a great mountain to ski on but you have to do something about your food services. We spent two hours in the Tannery before we got our food. We witnessed the wait staff being hostel and confrontational with other gusts. It took 30 minutes before menus arrived and then another hour for the food to show up. The food was not well prepared and completely undercooked. I was there to ski, not to sit in a restaurant with mean waitresses and undercooked food. Taking into account that Covid may have been partly to blame due to restaurant being short staffed. They should still warn people of delays and wait times. I'm sneaking in sandwiches next time I go up.

Gore has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid in the 80's. The mountain has continued to expand and improve every single year and as an adult with kids of my own I couldn't be happier to have all of us consider it to be our home mountain even though we live 4 hours away. Never leave disappointed even when the weather isn't in our favor. When it is it's even better! Varied trails makes for an adventurous day for everyone. Bonus, the food is the most reasonably priced I know of in a ski resort. Highly recommend everyone check this place out and see if it's a good fit for your family.

I had my first lesson today and it was amazing! My instructor, Liam, was a wonderful teacher and incredibly encouraging. I feel that I did really well because of the instruction and I actually did so good skiing for my first time I went on some green trails and had so much fun!

Gore mountain may not be the best known of the ski areas, but it is one of the biggest and best in the East. There are many trails with all levels of difficulty, they have snow making, but it is limited in how much terrain they can cover in one day. Go to Gore when natural snow is good, which is pretty often. The north face holds the snow, but it is cold. The gondola has medium to difficult trails. The accommodations and restaurants have been improving over the years, and you should find something to your liking. A friendly easy going atmosphere is always present and it is easy to get to from the Northway, I-87, lift tickets are affordable.
