For the upcoming production of CATS do you know if we will be able to go on stage during intermission? This was done allowed when I saw the show "back in the day".

Not only are you not allowed on stage nowadays, they usually close the curtains so you cannot take pictures of the stage.

It is true that audience members were allowed to inspect the set during intermission back in the day.... I suspect this will not be the case for the brief Syracuse schedule....
