Just as Robert said you would have to get a permit from the forestry and that is pending on where you want to camp. Also fires are definitely prohibited. You are better off to goto a state park or somewhere. Good luck.
According to the regulations, primitive camping of greater than one night requires a permit. I would assume that includes the status of being a displaced resident. Fires are also generally prohibited, which kind of makes a state forest a relatively poor choice to call home.
