Should be in your paperwork or you can call the dealership to check, hope that helps
Search the vin number which usually gives the correct info. You can also look for info on door or door jamb. Or even the sticker/tag under the hood. Or just count your wires or plugs 4 means its a 4 cylinder 6 a 6 and so on. I say vin usually works. Only because i baught a dodge and the vin said it was a 6 cylinder. The paperwork also said it. It came from manufacture this way. Of course i always look at the engine. I seen it was only a four. Had to inform them, info was corrected. It was fine with me. Less on gas and getting it tagged and licensed along with the taxes. Never knew it could happen. Even the sales team had one of their mechanics look it over also just to tell them it was a four cylinder.
Mr. Schwery, your new Cherokee has the FCA 2.4L 4 cylinder engine FCA has used for several years. Good reliable power train.
Yes to getting dealer ibfo. Plus a web search of the vin number will also give vehicle data.
