Evidently no one thinks the market is large enough to support an NBA or NHA team. Or else we would have one or both. Most importantly, we let the free market run its course.

Also the Sprint Center is making bank on concerts and other events. If there was a professional sports team in the arena they would not be as flexible and their scheduling. Which helps them have such a high concentrate

I'm trying to being the NBA Expansion to K.C. they will the "Tomahawk's"! Save your money so you can afford all the excitement in case this comes about. Wasn't sure they had a basketball arena in K.C. as the SprintCenter is a beautiful building. Hope the Expansion comes about as I have the idea Expansion for the team in Seattle for the NHL. Thanks K.C.

So, why doesn't Seattle have one either? It's the 12th largest market?

Small Market like Steve said, but if there ever is an expansion, KC should Benin the running. Die Hard Chiefs and Royals fans also deserve a team to cheat for during the spring.
