Hi Julie Popp, In 1997 the resort was purchased by Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based Marcus Hotels and Resorts and renovated from the Erawan Garden Hotel to Miramonte Resort & Spa.

Erawan garden closed in 1996 and was reopened as Miramonte in 1997. It became a Hilton property in 2016.
