I need to renew the passport for my son. He is a minor. I am not Italian. His dad is. We reside in Florida and his dad is in South America. Is there any document dad needs to fill?

I checked the website, there is no info for minors that have parents in separate countries. Anyone has this info?

When I was there whithout an appointment no one could gave me an answer about my new Italian passport...I've tried to do the same In Venezuela before and the answer was the same : " No Answers" get an appointment and we'll give you the answers...you need to take an appointment when In Roma Is 00:00 m.
