I recently enjoyed a round of golf at Eagle Trace. I observed at least 5 Burrowing owl nests in the bunkers..It is my understading that these birds are protected and I wondered why the bunkers with nests were not roped off to protect the birds

The short answer is the entire staff and ownership of a once great club,have no idea what they are doing. Please report this to Florida Game and Wildlife as they are protected by law
