They might still be closed. Hurricane Florence hit them hard. Check on the government website.
They are usually open as long as they have a host. I would think you could reserve for a month, but remember there is no water or sewer on the sites. So you'll have to unhook your electric and go fill/dump every so often...... right now they are closed due to storm damage. Expected opening date is December 1.
