Gotta recommend, they went out of there way and re-opened the store so I could get what I needed just before my trip. Very friendly. Highly recommend!

I bought a brand new RV from them. I loved my camper up until my furnace blew up on memorial day weekend. It was such an explosion my glass top on my stove broke and it messed up my command center. Waited to Tuesday to call them to because of course they aren't open. Then proceeded to get the run around. It is now Late August and and my awning motor got stuck and would not come in and it rained while out and broke the awning legs and tore the awning itself. Shannon is trying to get it covered under warranty but the last time I talked to Doug he was VERY RUDE. I did not appreciate the way he spoke to me and I had witnesses to the conversation. I do not recommend them should you need warranty work. Looks like I may need a lawyer. They keep saying need to bring it in...well I'm a travel respiratory therapist and it's my home in Asheville NC. Someone needs to fix it. This is ridiculous!

I was traveling to Morehead City. My motorhome steps would not extend. A friend, Dave, referred me to Doug at Carteret RV. I called on Friday. Shannon told me to stop by Saturday at 0900 when they open. I was met by Doug. He paired me with Joe, his top technician. Joe check out the steps and determined the motor was the problem. Joe showed me how he determined the motor was the fault. They did not have the step motor in stock, but gave me pictures of the motor part number so I could get it replaced when I returned to my dealer in Cincinnati. I was in and out in a hour, all at no charge! I highly recommend Carteret RV. Every one was friendly, very knowledgeable and efficient.

Probably should have read the reviews first. Strange place, they sell new campers that are damaged. When I questioned about this, the "salesman" asked me "is it suppose to be perfect". Yes, for $60,000 it better be close. Once he knew I was not interested in the one I drove down to see he never helped us again. Definitely not a professional place. Dirty used car salesman vibes here. I definitely would not recommend.
