A fair amount of people are also camping there. OSP and the Sheriff's drives by on the highway all the time. Your also free to exercise your second amendment rights.

It's as safe as anywhere else. Free for 14 days so be mindful of the crowd that attracts. Camp closer to bathrooms and back of the park; the entrance is usually where the riff raff camps. There are workers there almost daily to maintain trash and bathrooms and they are very kind. If you have non-emergency concerns, they'd be who to talk to. Otherwise the local sheriff's are also very cooperative.

Good drinking water and restrooms. Traffic is noisy as is the train, since the railroad tracks are right across the highway. Nevertheless, it's a beautiful spot to camp!
