coordinate with your auto insurance company and with lock it won't cost anything. Most cracks can be repaired. If the crack cannot be repaired and they have to replace the whole windshield then it will cost you your deductible
That is based on if you go with aftermarket or OEM. Usually going through insurance is cheaper as long as you have coverage. Out-of-pocket costs will be higher than just a windshield, because of labor, disposal, and mobile fees (if you have them come to you). First, call your insurance company or go to Safelite's website. Every car is different, as can be the deductibles. But at least their work has a lifetime guarantee on installation and defects, but not it breaking again (unless it's a stress crack, which is when a windshield cracks but does not have an impact point).
