My driver license expires Thursday but I want a state I’d only. I do not drive at this time. What do I need to bring to get I’d card?
A birth certificate, social security card, driver's license number if known and proof of residency like a utility bill in your name. Not sure if you need to report to police or not bmv may do that when you tell them. Not sure. When you get new license take pic of it in case new one gets stolen again. You'll need the above items to get the new style of driver's license anyway if you wanted the federal Id one. Check the website to make sure what you need.
How can you present an id when you got yours stolen?
You need an id and your ss card or birth certificate. And you have to report it stolen then just file a new one which is about $25.
