Yes, they're legitimate collection agency . They'll get you back on track out of your loans if it is defaulted. They are understanding too.

Yes. They are legit... I did a 10 month repayment plan with them to get my loans out of default last year and it's one of the best things I've done. They were super nice and getting my loans current was a huge weight off my shoulders. Typically, if you don't get them straight at this phase, US Dept of Ed will start garnishing your paychecks.

Yes. They are legit. You can look them up at reliantcapitalsolutions.com. The collectors are kind and understanding. The company does collections for the DOE.

Yes, unfortunately. I've been working with them for months. The employee seems nice enough but after sending in the same two forms several times the school keeps rejecting it because of small things, Reliant keeps making mistakes on telling me what needs to be filled out. Just be ready for a lot of back and forth working with them.

It should be. I ended up calling the dept of education directly to see who handled my loan and reliant came back as the lien holder. I'd do the same if I were you tho to double check.
