No. But certain airlines do not fly during certain hours.
Evidently they have made a lot of changes since the last time I was at MSY, to save money on flights while in the Air Force, I would catch the Red-Eye flights. That was back in 1996-97. I was either coming from San Antonio or Dallas. Back then it was operating just like it was daytime operations. About the only things that wasn't open was the restaurants, some of the coffee shops were open though. I need to ask my little brother because he had just recently flew from New Orleans to Midland, TX. Back in the mid 90s, you only had to get there about 30 minutes before your flight left. They didn't have so many items banned, i actually had a manicure type setup in my carry-on bag. I know that my info is roughly 20 years old but it was a lot easier back then.
No 24 hrs. Operations at this airport. If you need to be there extra early you can wait in the common areas. But like the earlier commentor said no flights from midnight to 5am.
Depends on what you are looking for. There are no flights between 12-5 am so vendors and ticket counters are not open in this time.
No. 24 hrs operation.
No, it is always open, although some shops and lounges may be at night.
