The reviews frequently mention being “a little pricey.” What constitutes a little? Any idea approximately what a date night would look like cost wise?

It really depends on which pieces you choose (I did not see anything decent under $15, so I let my daughter's choose one each). I paid $68, for two. It was fun, nice memories, but I probably could have had much more enjoyable memories if I had bought the pieces myself from Hobby Lobby/Michaels/craft store, and found a park for them to paint...they would not have had to worry about keeping their voice down 🤷‍♀️
