It's not poor customer service. It's due to the high volume of business they do. The ones in TN take in on average over 10,000 items a day. Books are shelved on atleast a weekly basis by section. The amount of money you save per book is worth the 2-3 minutes it takes to search a section.
Ever since they switched from Edward McKay to McKay's, they no longer will or can check for a book by phone or even in person. :(
Well, no one asked you Michelle, that's not poor customer service at all. it's a good business model to get rid of their old system so they can focus on their high volume of customers and not finding Air Bud on DVD for some lady's grandson
