Not anymore. Their new computer system under new management does not track book titles at all, which is odd, but that's how it works now.
Recently, one of my friends asked about a book while we were INSIDE the store shopping, and the employee would only tell him what section it would be in if they had it. The employee said they aren’t allowed to go on the floor to help look for stuff anymore. And the same friend called asking about a book before that day and was told that they can’t search for things anymore. I don’t know who made that poor customer service policy, but they should reconsider it.
Yes, the employee would check for the book. I've experienced that there may a hook you're looking for that's not in the area an employee looked in.
