I have a cat who i was supposed to be watching while my friend went on vacation. Unfortunately my friend left their cat with me permanently. I already have one cat & do not want another. Would I be able to surrender my cat to you?

Yes they accept cats, but they do discourage it because it costs a lot to maintain a safe environment for these animals.
