You can rent a boat for the day and buy a single day license. You must bring your own gear however. Gates open at 6am but get there early because all the boats might get taken during peak times (bass spawn, etc).
You can rent a boat for $46 I believe, you can get a one day license at each fishing area, but they do not rent gear. You will have to bring your own. They open at 6 am and boats are off the water at the posted time (which is 6:30pm as of now)
