I know they take Divers up the River to do a Drift Dive.
There is where local dive instructors take students. It great brcause its only 20 feet deep and the current is very slow... Scuba is $5 entry.. Also there is intertubing... Is $15.. And the length of the spring run is about 4 hours... So i hear. Dont get cought with a disposable container its a big fine... No chip bags ziplock... Or Poland spring bottles. Canteens and tupperware inly pretty much
Since the headspring at Rainbow river is protected you can only access the river by going upstream from KP hole. The tour boats are independent from the park and will take divers upstream to drift down. I personally swim up stream as I enjoy the workout and freedive.
They have tubes and kayaks for the river. It's about a 4 hour trip to where you get the shuttle to catch a ride back to the park.
