Can we bring an 8 person float

Actually I was told unless you put in on private property if you put in at any public access place there is a size limit to the float it cannot be longer than 60 in it has to be 60 in by 100 in or less I have been trying to find someone in the area that may have land on the river that I possibly know or a family member does that would allow us to access the river on their property so that we can float to the bridge with our big float all together
