Not if you can swim faster than your friends, lol, seriously though it's Florida so if it's fresh water then there's gators in it, we've seen several in the river over the years but never been attacked, the park usually removes them if they get around 5 feet long, DON'T swim at night! And if the water is salty then there's sharks in it, don't worry most folks make it out of Florida alive.
Hellyes there are gators. Babies too. Avoid them. And moms. I avoid the water unless its crystal clear
I've been floating the Rainbow River for over 20 years and maybe have seen 2. I'm sure Fish and Wildlife police any alligator that has a tendency to approach people.
I haven't seen one here before
I haven't seem one. Probably because there are so many people up and down the river. They aren't exactly fans of highly populated / trafficked areas
No, for the most part these parks are checked by the staff and the high people traffic deters them. I normally stay out of the weeds but i have never seen one.
You may see them on the bank but they don't bother you if you don't get close.
No. Water is cool. You might see some signs but no real probs.
