Why doesn’t the Groton Navy Exchange sell books or magazines? So far not very impressed with the new layout, even Newport is nicer.

They don't sell books for the same reason that most of the book stores in Eastern Connecticut have gone out of business. Most people do not buy books from a brick and mortar store anymore.

That's a damn good question, I know they have a hilariously small amount of book about navy stuff in the back near the books but the only magazines they have there are near the registers on the lower deck.
