Amazing cheese!! Great place to stop for a beer and a snack.

The Mystic Cheese Company is the coolest little cheese shop. My pics are pre-Covid, and we haven't been there since everything shut down, so hopefully the info in my review is still accurate. Before Covid, Mystic Cheese was doing tasting events pretty regularly, and we were really enjoying them! I think we've been to four different tastings, one done with wine, one with beer, one with mixed drinks and I can't remember what drinks accompanied the fourth tasting. Every pairing of drinks and cheese was well thought out and well paired, but I think our favorite is still the wine and cheese pairing. We have also been here for the grilled cheese (excellent!!) and cheese plates. They have wine and beer available to purchase in shop, along with crackers, jams and the like. They make their own cheese and sell it in the case along with other delicious options. They've even let us bring a cake in to celebrate a birthday (no dessert sold here). The owner and staff are fun to talk to and excited about what they do. It's a small place but they make the most of the space, and I love that you can see the cheese aging in the next room. β€οΈπ§π·

Loved it. How can you go wrong with cheese made on the premises? When you walk in you can see cheese curing in large wheels through the windows. The shop is in an industrial area, but inside is very warm and welcoming. They have wine, snacks, and grilled cheese. All the little touches, and great service made this a great experience. Plus if you get in the mood for beer there is a brewery right next door.

If youβre reading this and looking for an answer. Then yes, you want a grilled cheese here. I was going to upload a picture of it but itβs gone.

During this nice weather I might consider grabbing the sandwiches to go and heading down the road to Avery Point for a picnic. You can relax and they can run around.
We do not currently allow the public in to our space, orders for cheese (our kitchen is currently closed) are placed through our website and placed outside upon arrival when the customer phones they are on site. There is no direct contact. If you have any further questions please let us know. Thanks.
