Generally speaking, it is legal to sell tickets for face value, meaning the price paid marked on the ticket.
I'm not 100% sure. I'm assuming you could, you bought it. I know the theater won't refund you. You could post it on craigslist and they meet you there. Good luck and enjoy the show!
