Yes they will let you know if a ship is delayed. All depends on weather conditions .the times are eta . You can look it up on line they have a sight for ship schedule. Or you can call the phone # for shipping schedule.

There is a phone number to call to get the daily schedule of the ships going through thre locks. I'm not sure if cancellations are included in that.
