my wife has alzheimer's and her drivers license is up for renewal. she can no longer drive. can she use her license as id in the future or does she need to get a non-drivers id. she can walk but can barely read or write and nonsense talk.

If she is 65 or older a non driver's I'd is 6.50 and will be good for ten years. I highly recommend you get her one, some medicine requires photo id and if it becomes necessary for her to go to a nursing facility there will be no problem. I am so very sorry for this hand you and your wife have been dealt. I have seen this with my father and a good friend. My prayers for you and your family.
