I think the rain would make it more interesting, because you’ll see different animals and how the rain interacts with the landscape. Our host has been there in all seasons and said that she is always amazed at how different it looks. I would definitely still go.
When we were there water levels were low so the only water was concentrated into several large pools which attracted alot of wildlife. You can always call and ask how the conditions are. Good luck. Hope you have a great time.
